Multilayer heat-insulating coating, which has colour neutral in transparency and reflection and has high transmission in the visible region, high total energy transmission and low emissivity, for a substrate made of transparent material, esp. for a heat-insulating glass sheet, which has a silver layer, a lower de-reflection layer comprising two different metal oxide layers, an upper de-reflection layer comprising two different metal oxide layers and a sacrificial metal layer between the silver layer and the upper de-reflection layer, is novel in that the two lower metal oxide layers consist of a 15-25 nm thick bismuth oxide layer and a 16-22 nm thick silver oxide layer and that the upper metal oxide layers comprise a 5-30 nm thick tin oxide layer and a 15-30 nm thick bismuth oxide layer. -
