PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dish washer which facilitates the washing of the moving parts, the maintenance, and the replacement of the movable parts. SOLUTION: This electric dish washer is provided with a basket 6 which can be carried out to the non-washing position from the washing position where the dishes to be washed 7 in the basket 6 are contained and soaked in a sink water tank 2 filled with washing water. Stators Sa, Sb and Sc are installed on the inside wall of the water tank 2 that are driven by an electric power source 4 to generate the revolving magnetic field. Rotors Ra, Rb and Rc are installed on the basket 6, which make up fins of a induction motor to generate vortex flows when the basket 6 is in the washing position with the rotors closely opposed to the stators Sa, Sb and Sc.
