PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load for inputting an adjustment value and a setting value of a pass book printer again. SOLUTION: When a control card 3 is replaced with a new one, the adjustment value and the setting value of the pass book printer 1 stored in a nonvolatile memory mounted on the control card 3 are written into an independently prepared magnetic stripe using a magnetic head 41. The adjustment value and the setting value which are written into the magnetic stripe after replacing the control card 3 are read by using the magnetic head 41 to be stored in the nonvolatile memory on the replaced new control card 3.
