PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishhook sharpener where anybody can easily sharpen a conical fishhook and a contacting object is not damaged. SOLUTION: This sharpener features being so arranged that a cutting face is installed on the whole of a tubular internal surface in such a way that the cutting face contacts with the outer periphery of a needlepoint over 360 degrees to fit the conical shape of the needlepoint and the inner diameter is tapered off in such a way that the needlepoint always contacts with the cutting face, and not exposing the cutting face on a handle surface.
