PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoch-making and commercially valuable weir for a paddy field. SOLUTION: This weir for a paddy field is set at an arbitrary part of a levee 2 of a paddy field 1 and comprises a leading path 3 at a predetermined part of the levee 2 and a stem 5 in the path 3 interrupting the path wherein the stem 5 can be heaved with being supported at its lower end and can adjust the leading area of the leading path 3 with the heaving amount.
