METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING FORMALIN GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating formalin gas in the air containing it. SOLUTION: While keeping the air containing formalin gas at 20-40 deg.C and at the relative humidity of 50-90%, this method and apparatus removes formaldehyde quickly with the treatment of cleansing the air in cold water. A catalytic decomposition removes almost all the remaining formalin from the treated air.
