PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer which is improved to decrease running noise in its structure having a high-pressure airflow generator close to a vent and improves user's comfort. SOLUTION: In a hand dryer which has a high-pressure airflow generator 2 equipped close to a hand entrance 3 which is wide enough for hands to put in and out and blows moisture off hands in the hands' entrance 3 by the high- pressure airflow kinetic energy, a vent 14 is settled at a hand entrance 3 and blows high-pressure airflow in a different direction from that generated in a high-pressure airflow generator 2.
