PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality band for CVT belt at an economical cost. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a band which constitutes a transportation component for a CVT belt comprises a step to make a continuous pipe 108 by winding a thin metallic plate 102 spirally, a step to weld the thin metallic plate 102 along with the spirally wound wire, and a step to laser cut the band 100 from the continuous pipe 108.
