PAPER SHEET HAVING EXCELLENT GLOSS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet that has the surface gloss of >=60 at the 60 deg. incidence angle, in no need of the conventional press-coating technique, even when it is a printed matter on which the overcoat layer made of a water- based coating agent is formed. SOLUTION: The objective paper sheet is prepared by forming the overcoat layer on the paper stock material with a water-based coating agent comprising an acrylic polymer or an acrylic-styrene copolymer having the Zahn's Cup factor of <=30 seconds (accordign to #4).
