PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material conveyer, an image reader and an image forming device of good operation property improving sheet material handling property in processes after a paper feeder. SOLUTION: The devices are provided with a feeding sending roller 8 to feed and send a mounted original sheet 2, a separating pad 9 pressing the original sheet 2 to contact the feeding sending roller 8 to prevent overlapping sending of the original sheet 2 conveyed by the feeding sending roller 8, a movable open-close door 100 forming a conveying passage for the original sheet 2 downstream of the contact point of the feeding sending roller 8 and the separating pad 9.
