PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinal conveying device capable of reducing a space for a conveying path, and smoothly discharging loads. SOLUTION: Endless vertically circulatable ropes 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d are respectively mounted at approximately four corners of a longitudinal conveying path to support corners of load receiving nets 2 approximately horizontally expanded at every predetermined height positions of lowered ropes, horizontal rods 3a, 3b for restricting an interval between the ropes, are respectively hung over between the ropes 1a, 1b at a front side of the conveying path and between the ropes 1c, 1d at a rear side, the ropes 1a, 1b at the front side are guided to the back of the rear side of the conveying path at a lower end part of the conveying path, the ropes 1c, 1d at the rear side are guided to the front side of an upper part with respect to the lower end part of the conveying path, and then guided to the back at the rear side of the conveying path through a front side lower end part, a vacant load receiving net is approximately stood and raised at the rear side back part, and the load receiving net 2 is temporarily received by a horizontal member 6 near a lower end of the conveying path.
