PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newspaper and magazine rack for easily cruciformly bundling newspapers and magazines stores in the rack and taking them out in the bundled state. SOLUTION: When newspapers and magazines of heavy weight are bundled, they are loosened or cut unless a string is wound around in double or triple. When bundling them in the vertical direction is completed and then winding the string in the lateral direction, the newspapers and magazines and bundled in double or triple by rotating a string winding ball reel instead of pulling the string. Spaces passing through the storing and the winding ball reel, therefore, is formed on an upper section and a lower section, and the upper section and the lower section are formed into a structure of supporting the newspaper and magazines by an L-shaped frame in the space, having the widened top section so that the bundle of the newspapers and magazines can be easily drawn out and encircling the upper section for the purpose of retaining the strength of the rack.
