PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a knitted product excellent in absorption efficiency of infrared rays. SOLUTION: This knitted product is obtained by composing the surface structure of the knitted product of infrared absorbent fibers such as carbon-containing fibers. Since the absorption efficiency of infrared rays is improved, the knitted product excellent in endothermic properties and heat insulating properties can be provided. When the back surface structure is formed from polyvinyl chloride fibers or polypropylene fibers having a low thermal conductivity and a small water absorption coefficient and providing a pile structure excellent in heat insulating performance, heat insulation persistence can be improved. The back surface and intermediate structure can be formed by suitably using polyester fibers excellent in toughness and processing characteristics, carbon-containing fibers having high endothermic properties, polyurethane fibers having stretchability and wool, cotton, nylon fibers, etc., excellent in hygroscopicity. When the product is produced by a circular knitting machine adhesion with human bodies is improved to improve the heat transfer properties. The constitution of the knitted product is applied to a supporter for infrared therapy and the supporter is mounted on an affected part to carry out the infrared therapy and thereby increase the therapeutic effects.
