PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromanol glycoside composition which contains chromanol glycosides of the general formula (1) [(m) is 1 to 6] as main components, and has high purity and extremely high water solubility, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a cosmetic containing the same. SOLUTION: This chromanol glycoside composition which comprises chromanol glycosides [only (m) is different] represented by the general formula (1) [R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each the same or differently H or a lower alkyl; R5 is H, a lower alkyl, or a lower acyl; X is a glucose residue in which the hydrogen atoms of the hydroxyl groups may be substituted by lower alkyl groups or lower acryl groups; (n) is an integer of 0 to 4; (m) is an integer of 1 to 10], contains all of the chromanol glycosides [(m) is 1 to 6], and has a chromanol glycoside [(m) is >=7] content of <=3%.
