A double-walled synthetic resin container wherein a gap between an inner container and an outer container holds a synthetic resin thermal insulator layer having a double-walled structure and filled with a low thermal conductivity gas having a thermal conductivity lower than that of air. Additionally, a double-walled synthetic resin lid wherein a gap between a top surface wall and a bottom surface wall holds a synthetic resin lid thermal insulator layer having a double-walled structure and filled with a low thermal conductivity gas having a thermal conductivity lower than that of air. A plating film does not need to be formed, thus reducing the manufacturing costs, increasing the freedom of design, and simplifying recovery of the synthetic resin.
