PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a girder for construction work, in which cost can be reduced and welding is unnecessary. SOLUTION: In this girder for construction work consisting of a main girder, a cross-beam in which a sleeper is to be inserted, and a shelf board attatched to the main girder for placing the cross-beam thereon, the main girder (10) is made of shaped steel, the cross-beam (11) is made of two L shape steels (11a, 11b) piled togher, making U shape cross section so that the sleeper is inserted, being jointed by high strength bolt (12). The shelf board (14) is formed by attaching the L-shaped steel to a main girder web plate by the high strength bolt (15).
