PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance quality of sidewalls while simplifying a spew trimming process. SOLUTION: A carcass 12 is arranged across a pair of bead cores 14 and embedded passing through a crown portion 18. The crown portion 18 is provided with a belt layer 20 and a tread 22 being layered thereon in sequence. An annular decorative band shaped by a plurality of ridges is provided on the outer surfaces of side walls 24 as portions tying the bead cores 14 and the crown portion 18. In manufacturing a tire, a plurality of protrusions are provided on a portion of the surface layer of a green tire corresponding to an uneven portion of a mold for forming the decorative band.
