PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel, achieving a lighter weight on a wheel side without changing a layout for a knuckle or the like on a vehicle side. SOLUTION: This bearing device for a wheel comprises an outer ring 55 having plural lines of raceway surfaces 56, 57 and adapted to be connected and fixed to a mounting member on the wheel side, a hub ring 41a and an inner ring 60a having plural lines of raceway surfaces 58, 59 opposed to the raceway surfaces 56, 57 of the outer ring 55, to which a wheel is attached, and plural lines of rollers 61, 62 mounted between the raceway surfaces of the outer ring 55 and the hub ring 41a and between the raceway surfaces of the outer ring 55 and the inner ring 60a, respectively, whereby the wheel is rotatably supported on a vehicle body. The hub ring 41a has one raceway surface 58 out of the plural lines of raceway surfaces 58, 59, formed directly on an outboard side and the inner ring 60a separated therefrom has the other raceway surface 59 formed on the outer periphery. The hub ring 41a and the inner ring 60a are arranged with their opposed end faces being abutted to each other.
