<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new anti-corrosion device that can be attached to a saddle ferrule easily without using special tools and can be used also as a container for packing the ferrule. SOLUTION: An opening/closing box capable of housing a saddle ferrule is provided with a cover and a base made from a non-conductive material in a way the cover and the base can be closed tightly, and inserting openings of a water line main pipe and branched pipes. Seals to keep the water main pipe and the branched pipes airtight and watertight are also provided at the openings of these pipes. Corrosion caused by remaining gas is avoided, and the stability of saddle ferrule in the box is intended, as a protrusion is provided inside the box so that the inside shape of the box corresponds to the outer shape of the ferrule, and space remaining inside the box is reduced as much as possible.</p> |
