PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for measuring electrical characteristics that calculates bioelectric impedance and estimates distributions of body fat and body fluid while controlling influence caused by the outside noise in a low-frequency region. SOLUTION: The measuring equipment 100 produces measuring signals Ia which have relatively stronger spectrum in a low-frequency comparing to that in a high-frequency depending on the frequency of measuring signals. The equipment is equipped with a generator 72 of measuring signals that input measuring signals Ia to an examinee through superficial electrodes Hc, Lc, an analog-to- digital converter 93 that measures electric current of the measuring signals that is input to the examinee, an analog-to-digital converter 83 that measures voltage generated between the body surfaces of the examinee, and a central processing unit 3 that estimates bioelectric impedance between the body surfaces of the examinee and a physical value depending on the impedance from the measured electric current and voltage. |
