<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of the operation of a belt drawing-out preventive mechanism which is operated when the acceleration caused by an accident is applied. SOLUTION: In a seat belt system in which the overall draw-out length of a seat belt 11 is determined so that the angle of rotation of a control wheel 21 with respect to a rotary shaft 12 is <=360 deg., more preferably, about 180 deg., the control wheel 21 is connected to be jointly turned with a cam ring 18 having switching means 46 and 47 along a first angular area 45 for engagement/ disengagement of a preventive pawl 17 and at least one switching element 49 along a second angular area 48 for the switching operation by at least another belt draw-out, and at the same time, displaceable in the radial direction according to the eccentric operation.</p> |
