PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for cleaning which is used to remove stains adhering to bolts, nuts, mechanical components, etc. SOLUTION: The cage for cleaning has a construction such that a handle is attached to a cylindrical storage part, a metal screen is stretched within a storage frame, and the central portion of the storage part is bent so as to protrude inward of the storage part, while a flat metal screen is stretched over the bottom of the storage part. The cage may have a construction such that a handle is attached to a rectangular storage part, a metal screen is stretched within a rectangular storage frame, and the central portion of the storage part is bent so as to protrude inward of the storage part, while a flat metal screen is stretch over the bottom of the storage part. The cage may also have a construction such that a handle is attached to a rectangular storage part, a metal screen is stretched within a rectangular storage frame, and the central portion of the storage part is bent so as to protrude outward of the storage part, while a metal screen is stretched over the bottom of the storage part so that the screen is bent so as to protrude inward of the storage part.
