PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable general consumers to easily regulate a pearling degree with an in-store type rice milling machine and to eliminate the anxiety about a difference in the pearling degrees selected by a previous person and a person of this time. SOLUTION: This rice milling machine 100 has a pearling device 10 which pearls unpolished rice fed into a hopper 14 with rice milling rolls 12 within a pearling degree 11, a pearling degree regulating device 20 which regulates the pearling degree in the pearling device 10, an operation panel which is disposed on a machine frame surface in order to carry out the operation to set the pearling degree with the pearling degree regulating device 20 and has regulation buttons, an arithmetic processing section which controls the regulation of the pearling degree with the pearling degree regulating device 20 according to the signal from the operation panel, and an unpolished rice detecting sensor 15 which detects the presence of absence of the unpolished rice within the hopper 14. The pearling degree with the pearling degree regulating device 20 is regulated to a milled rice state with the unpolished rice detecting sensor 15 detecting that the unpolished rice does not exist any more within the hopper 14 in the last of the pearling work in the pearling 10 and the pearling of the unpolished rice remaining in the pearling device 10 is executed to obtain a milled rice state.
