PURPOSE: A charnel house is provided to keep many urns by families and to ventilate the inside of a grave mound. CONSTITUTION: The charnel house(1) comprises: a concrete foundation buried under the ground; a rectangular granite board installed on bottom materials(3) installed on the foundation; a draft tower(50) installed on the middle of the bottom materials(3) to suck and disperse the outside air into the center through an air supply pipe(52); partitions(10) for keeping urns installed by granite boards to secure a ventilation way; a vent(40) installed on the central upper part of the granite board and projected to the upper part of a grave mound; a waterproof film(20) for waterproofing by mortaring the outside of the granite boards; woven fabrics(21) for covering the upper part of the waterproof film(20) to prevent the collapse of soil forming the grave mound; an S-shaped air pipe(9) installed between outer footing stone(4) and the granite board to suck the outside air; charcoal filled up an interval between the granite board and the partition(10); and a locking device(30) installed to an entrance(22) to be concealed.
