PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal device in which garbage is decomposed by using bacteria and bacteria materials containing food for the bacteria, in which the treated water generated by decomposion is quickly discharged to a drain without logging small holes in the drain-plate at the bottom of the agitator with the garbage, and which has a garbage decomposion capacity sufficent for business use. SOLUTION: The garbage disposal device is characterized by comprising an agitating vessel 2 of which the lower part 2a fixed horizontally in a box body 10 is formed in a semi-cylindrical shape over the whole length of a horizontal direction and of which the upper part 2b is formed in an opening state, an agitation shaft 3 which is rotatably pivoted on the above agitation vessel 2 and provided with a plurality of agitation bodies 12 in radial directions, a driving mechanism 4 which rotates the above agitation shaft 3, a drain-plate 5 which has a number of small holes 5a and attached to cover the lower part 2b, and a water spray pipe 8 which is provided with a number of outlets 8a which sprays water 26 into the agitation vessel 2 and placed in the box body.
