PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washing machine with the dish rack inside the washing room capable of electrically moving up and down. SOLUTION: This dish washing machine comprises a main body 1, a washing room 2 inside the main body 1, an opening part 3 provided to the washing room 2, a door 4 to open or close the opening part 3, a dish rack 11 installed in the washing room 2, rotary arms 7 and 8 on both sides of the dish rack 11 to adjustably support its hoisting and lowering movement, an ascend-descend support equipment 9 allowing these rotary arms 7 and 8 to rotate, and a drive means 17 to achieve normal or reverse rotation of these rotary arms 7 and 8 installed on the ascend-descend support equipment 9. Because of this drive means 17 which enables the ascend-descend support equipment 9 to rotate forward or backward with the rotary arms 17 and 18 that adjustably support the dish rack 11. The dish rack 11 can electrically move up and down freely without the use of human power.
