METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HUMIDITY CONDITIONING TILE AND HUMIDITY CONDITIONING TILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity conditioning tile superior in capability of humidity conditioning and appearance, and a method of manufacturing humidity conditioning tile in which a granulated raw material of tile containing an inorganic humidity conditioning material is press-molded and sintered. SOLUTION: The process (a) is preparing for the raw material of tile. The inorganic humidity conditioning material is diatomite containing SO2 of <=1% and/or siliceous shale. The process (b) consists of wet grinding of the raw material of tile, a spray drying and a granulating. The process (c) is the press molding of granulated raw material of tile. The process (d) is the sintering of the pressed mold. The color change of the raw material of tile and the humidity conditioning tile is controlled by decreasing the SO3 content.
