PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting bag capable of stably pouring contents, excellent in the external appearance, and capable of being easily and inexpensively manufactured by reducing the amount of a resin to be used. SOLUTION: The self-supporting bag having a pair of side face parts 2, 2 opposed to each other and a bottom face part 3 is sealed after it is filled with contents, and is formed into a cubic shape whose sectional area in cross section is gradually made smaller as it extends upward. At least one of the side face parts of the self-supporting bag is made of a laminated material in which a paper layer and a resin layer are laminated on each other, and the laminated material is disposed in such a manner that the resin layer faces the inner face side of the bag.
