PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform the steering operation of a farm working machine provided with a lateral pair of crawler type travel devices. SOLUTION: In this steering system for the farm working machine, a steering operating means, side clutches 20L, 20R and a slow turning driving means are linked so that when the steering operating means is operated into a first operation area on either right or left side off a neutral position, the side clutches 20L, 20R of one travel device are disengaged and that when further operated into a following second operation area, the travel device in the disengaged state of the side clutches 20L, 20R is driven at reduced speed by the slow turning driving means. In this constitution, the travel device in the disengaged state of the side clutches 20L, 20R, and the slow turning driving means are interlockingly connected through friction type turning clutches 38L, 38R.
