PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care bathtub, which makes it possible for care personnel to move bathers easily from their beds and give them a bath in a comfortable position without necessity for cleaning after bathing and for worrying about infection, and which is compact to stow away despite its durable hard exterior. SOLUTION: The care bathtub consists of two-layers structure, the first of which is the outer part 2 which keeps its shape and the second of which is the inner part containing water. The above outer part 2 has the bottom wall part 4 and the sidewall part 5 surrounding it and at least one of the sidewall 5 bends freely for the shifting of a bather. The above inner part covering the inner wall is made up of a detachable and bendable flat sheet of waterproof materials, which is set up on the outer part 2. The outer part 2 can be folded in three in the direction of the length. |
