<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste-carbonizing furnace which makes possible the waste disposal useful for an environment protection and an effectual utilization of resources. SOLUTION: This waste-carbonizing furnace comprises a carbonizing furnace body 1, a rotary agitating means 2, a pressure-reducing means 3, and a heating means 4. The carbonizing furnace body 1 is provided with a waste input opening 6, a discharging part 10 for carbonized waste and an air-exhausting part 8. The rotary agitating means 2 is provided with a rotary axle 12 which is disposed longitudinally in the carbonizing furnace body and which has agitating blades 13a, 13b, 13c being projected at some intervals and the central axle and agitating the waste in the carbonizing furnace body. The pressure-reducing means 3 comprises a body of a vacuum pump 19 to make under a pressure- reduced condition the inside of the carbonizing furnace body. The heating means 4 has a heating zone installed around the external circumference of the carbonizing furnace body. The waste in the carbonizing furnace body is carbonized while being heated and agitated rotationally by means of the heating zone and the rotary agitating means.</p> |
