PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antineoplastic selective for a kind of mastocarcinoma or melanoma by proving that 5-S-GAD shows selective antineoplastic effect on that kind of mastocarcinoma and melanoma in vitro and in vivo. SOLUTION: This antineoplastic for melanoma or mastocarcinoma contains as an effective component at least one kind selected from the group consisting of N-β-alanyl-5-S-glutathionyl-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (5-S-GAD),β-alanyl-3,4- dihydroxyphenylalanine (β-AD), 5-S-cysteinyl-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (5-S-CD) and pharmaceutically permissible salts thereof.
