PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loose-leaf binder easily unlocked in an opening operation of the binder and easy to be inserted into or removed from the binder. SOLUTION: The loose-leaf binder comprises a left side base plate 1 having a plurality of first binding rings long a left edge and a right side base plate 2 having a plurality of second binding rings along a right edge, and opens or closes the first and second binding rings by laterally moving the plate 1 and the plate 2. In this case, the left side plate has a first slide part, and the right side plate has a second slide part telescopically engaged with the first slide part to slide in such a manner that at least one end of the plate has a locking part. In this case, first and second knobs 13, 14 are formed at east one end of both the plates. The rings are opened by pressing both the knobs by fingers in a direction toward one another.
