PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous carbonization plant for solid waste which plant is made to contrive a compactification of the plant by improving the contact of a raw material with air or burning gas and by achieving an efficiency of the carbonization, and to permit a stable partial combustion and dry distillation, and also to design an effective utilization of the dry distilled gas. SOLUTION: The first stage rotary kiln unit 10 is provided with a rotary kiln 11 which rotary kiln 11 has an aeration part 12 provided with a large number of blowholes. The rotary kiln 11 has around the external circumference of the aeration part 12 a cylindrical outer shell 14, the bottom surface side of which outer shell 14 is provided with an air-supplying wind box 15 and the top surface side of which outer shell 14 is provided with an air-exhausting wind box 16. The second stage rotary kiln unit 20 and the third stage rotary kiln unit 30 are so constituted the same as the first stage rotary kiln unit is. The air-exhausting wind box 16 is connected to the air-supplying wind box 25 by way of a combustor 42, and the air-exhausting wind box 26 is connected to the air-supplying wind box 35 by way of a combustor 43. |
