PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatically closing connector having a compression chamber, with maintaining a simple structure. SOLUTION: The automatically closing connector has a hard and non- deformable closing piston 5. A compression chamber 14 is formed around the closing piston 5, which is sectioned by a housing tail end wall 4 on the upstream side and by a downstream overall sealing gasket 7 supported by the closing piston on the downstream side. Injection liquid exits 10, 16 of the connector are located lower than the gasket. The closing piston 5 has an internal passage 9 with an entrance 9a opening inside the compression chamber 14 and an exit 9b communicating with the injection liquid exits 10 and 16 of the connector. The connector is applicable to injection in the medical field. |
