PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel sheet coating film which shows high performance in terms of water resistance, weatherability, adhesion and the like. SOLUTION: This coated stainless steel sheet is obtained by applying a heat- curable primer coating containing a polyphenol and a rubber modified epoxy resin as a polyepoxide to the surface of the stainless steel sheet and applying a heat-curable facing material containing a hydroxyl group-containing resin, an amino resin and a block polyisocyanate compound, if necessary, after drying or thermally curing the primer coating, and further, thermally curing the facing material.
