PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quilt capable of preventing cold air from entering from around the shoulders or the neck of a person to sleep without giving unnatural feeling to him/her. SOLUTION: A cover quilt 11 and an under quilt 12 are connected detachably at their lower end edges trued up by using snaps 21 and 22 and the quilt 12 is formed longer than the quilt 11 of a normal length to constitute a quilt 1 provided with a shoulder cover part 12a, which can be folded back to the front side of the quilt 11, on the upper end part of the quilt 12. After getting into a bed, the person to sleep covers his//her neck and shoulders by using the shoulder cover part 12a, which was folded back, to close a gap opening around the shoulders and necks to prevent cold air from entering the inside of the quilt 1 to increase warmth-retaining property for sleeping warmly. Since the part 12a is a part of the quilt 12, it never gives unnatural feeling to him/her. Furthermore, the shoulder cover part 12 is never deviated even when he/she turns in his/her sleep.
