A method of accessing sequence of frames (Fig. 1) of video stored on mass storage (50) including storing a tag for each frame that can be used to verify that the respective frame is complete, reading a sequence of frames of video from mass storage (50), storing the frames of the sequence in a buffer (72), accessing each tag to determine if each frame in the sequence is complete, and accessing each frame from the buffer only if it has been determined that the frame is complete. |
