<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured rotary index requiring no wide space and having an easily adjustable oscillation reducing mechanism effective in suppressing vibration. SOLUTION: A supporting column 16, in which a fluoride polymer plate is stuck to the tip, is arranged below a rotary table 14. On the lower face of the rotary table, a contact plate 23 is arranged in an area facing the tip of the supporting column when the rotary table is in a rotation stopping position. A clearance between the contact plate and the fluoride polymer plate is adjusted by arranging a shim between the contact plate and the rotary table. If vertical vibration is caused when the rotary table is in the rotation stopping position, the contact plate is brought into contact with the fluoride polymer plate so as to prevent vibration above a predetermined amount.</p> |
