PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of surely and efficiently manufacturing an air guide duct of double-layer structure with improved sound absorbing characteristics, heat insulating characteristics, and vibrationproof characteristics. SOLUTION: In this method of manufacturing an air guide duct 22 allowing the air blowout port 16 of a vehicle interior member 10 to communicate with the air blowout port 14 of an air conditioner unit 12, an inner layer sheet 26 with sound absorbing and heat insulating functions is covered on a vacuum formed mold 28 having the inner surface shape of the longitudinal half-body of the duct provided on the mold surface 32 thereof, an outer layer sheet 24 made of thermoplastic resin is covered, in heated state, on the outer surface of the inner layer sheet through adhesive agent 38, and then the vacuum formed mold is evacuated. By this, the shape of the half-body of the air guide duct is provided to the inner and outer layer sheets, two half-bodies obtained by the vacuum forming are allowed to abut on so that the inner sheets thereof are opposed to each other, and flange parts 30b and 30b allowed to abut on in longitudinal direction are connected to each other.
