PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tire forming drum enabling improvement of the durability of a tire by reducing a positional slippage in the direction of the width of a belt member and by improving thereby the forming accuracy of a belt layer. SOLUTION: On the outer peripheral surface 10A of each segment 11 constituting the tire forming drum 10, a pair of fixing guides 16 are provided, being spaced by the width of the belt member 18. Besides, the segment 11 is provided with a magnet attracting the belt member 18. Combination of the magnet with the fixing guides 16 prevents the belt member 18 from slipping in the direction of the width thereof (direction of an arrow A), even when the member is stitched. As the result, the forming accuracy of the belt layer can be enhanced and thus durability of the tire can be enhanced.
