METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING FINE COAL

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for stably supplying fine coal used as fuel in a high-pressure coal combustion apparatus by use of air are provided. Whereby, the method permits the volume of a compressor for supplying fine coal conveying air to be set up suitably and prevents abrasion of pipes. CONSTITUTION: The fine coal supply apparatus comprise: a table feeder(2) at the lower side of a fine coal supply tank(1); an air supply pipe(4) connected to the table feeder by intervention of a lower pipe(3); a fine coal supply pipe(5) connected to one end part of the air supply pipe to convey fine coal supplied from the table feeder; a distribution tank(6) for mixing and feeding fine coal and air to a combustion furnace(8) by intervention of a distribution pipe(7). The gas solid ratio of nitrogen and fine coal is set up to 400kg-coa/m¬3-N2 or less and then fed to the table feeder and lower pipe.
