<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste plastic aggregate to be admixed to a cement product that can inexpensively produce cement products of light weight and high strength by utilizing synthetic resin vessels such as polyethylene terephthalate bottles as domestic waste without incineration as well as the by-products and residue as fly ash exhausted from power plants on combustion, cement products containing the waste plastic aggregate and its production process. SOLUTION: Waste thermoplastic plastic resin is made into small pieces 9 and a heat-resistant cement affinity material 12 is heated over the softening point of this waste thermoplastic resin and brought into contact with the small pieces 9 to soften and melt them with the heat of the affinity material to form a waste plastic aggregate to which the affinity material 12 is firmly fixed on the peripheral surface. Then, the waste plastic aggregate to which the heat- resistant cement affinity material is fixed on its peripheral surface is kneaded together with a cement milk-forming material and the cement products are formed from the kneaded product.</p> |
