<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the recording infeasible time by performing tracing control during a period of rewinding a tape, braking the tape in the state of managing a positional relationship between a magnetic head and the tape, stating forward rotation subsequently and reducing the tape moving amt. required for consecutive recording control. CONSTITUTION:Instruction for each individual operating mode for consecutive recording is given by the user by operating an operating panel 21, and a changeover of these control modes and a changeover of various switches are performed by a system controller 20 in response to a command from the panel 21. When recording is stopped by a stop command, a capstan motor 1 is stopped and hence the magnetic tape 9 is stopped. Subsequently, the motor 1 is reversely rotated to rewind the tape 9, and then after the motor 1 is forwardly rotated again to advance the tape 9, the standby state is esterblished. Afterward, when a recording command is issued, the motor 1 is started up to advance the tape 9, and recording is resumed from the same point as a previous ending point. Under these operations, start-up and control of the motor 1 are carried out based on a head changeover signal in prescribed timing.</p> |
