<p>PURPOSE:To erase the color of the letters and images formed on the recording material with visible light and to enable the letters and images to be recorded on the same part by forming the recording material with a sensitizing dye having absorption in the visible wavelength region and a boron compound. CONSTITUTION:The recording material is composed of the sensitizing dye having the absorption in the visible light wavelength region and the boron compound represented by formula I in which each of R1-R4 is, independently, an optionally substituted alkyl, alicyclic, saturated and unsaturated heterocyclic group or the like; and each of R5-R8 is, independently, H, optionally substituted alkyl, an alicyclic, saturated or unsaturated hetero-cyclic group or the like. This recording material is decolored by irradiation with the visible light of 400-700nm wavelength and incorporated in a support of a wax or resin or the like to be made sensitive to the visible light and decolorable by irradiating with light in this wavelength region, and a stable color photoerasable composition can be obtained by irradiating it with fluorescent light and the like.</p> |
