<p>PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner in which the bottom of a front panel covering both the sides of a movable diffuser provided at an air inlet is not deflected down. CONSTITUTION: A front panel 3 is mounted in a casing 2 for forming a body 1. A heat exchanger 5 and a fan 6 are provided in an air passage for connecting an air inlet 4 formed at the body 1 to an air outlet 7. A diffuser 9 rotatably supported at both the sidewalls 2a of the casing 2 for forming the outlet 7 is provided at the outlet 7, and both the side bottoms of the panel 3 are mounted at both the sides of the diffuser 9 in an air conditioner. A reinforcing rib 3a and/or a second reinforcing rib 3b of a protruding stripe extended longitudinally inside both the side bottoms of the panel 3 are integrally formed, a groovelike locking part 2b is integrally formed at the walls 2a of the casing 2 corresponding to the ribs 3a and/or 3b, and the ribs 3a and/ or 3b is locked to the part 2b.</p> |
