PURPOSE: A pillow for assisting sleep is provided to enable a child or insomniac to sleep rapidly and have a sound sleep by directly stimulate peripheral nerves around ears of the child or insomniac. CONSTITUTION: A friction section is installed in a pillow at a portion contacting the head, and in particular, around an ear or ears of a user. The friction selection is selectable according to the habit of the user. A driving motor is installed inside or outside the pillow, and friction mechanism is installed in the pillow to stimulate peripheral nerves around the ears or at the tips of the head surface to assist the user to sleep rapidly and sound. A power switch and a timer are connected to a power supply(1). The switch is turned on to start the operation of the driving motor. The switch is turned off after 30 to 60 minutes by the timer according to a reserved time to stop the operation of the driving motor.
