PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for cultivating mushroom spawn capable of reducing labor power and cultivating time by automatization of a cultivating process of a spawn are provided, which can uniformly inoculate the spawn into a medium and prevent various harmful germs from getting mixed. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus consists of: a liquid spawn cultivator(1) equipped with a cooling device(5), a circulation pipe(6) with discharge holes, a rotary shaft(9) with a cutter(7) and impeller(8), an air inlet(11), an air outlet(13), a spawn inlet(14); a medium mixing and fermenting device for fermenting a conventional medium for cultivating a mushroom and pouring into a spawn medium mixing inoculator; the spawn medium mixing inoculator connected to the liquid spawn cultivator and equipped with a spawn discharge pipe(19), a mixed screw(20), a heating device(21), a cooling device(22) and an inoculation medium discharge device(25).
