METHOD FOR CULTIVATION OF CHINESE BELLFLOWER

PURPOSE: A method for cultivation of Chinese bellflower by growing in previously sowed soil, transplanting to another soil, growing, transplanting to another soil and repeating the above procedure several times is provided. Whereby, the perennial Chinese bellflower having improved in medicinal action can be produced. CONSTITUTION: This cultivation method comprises the steps of: sowing Chinese bellflower seed and growing in previously sowed soil for 2 to 3 years; transplanting the Chinese bellflower to another soil, growing the transplanted bellflower for 3 to 5 years; transplanting to another soil; and repeating the above procedure several times. The soil is loess or half sandy soil.
