PURPOSE: A flexible bar is provided to prevent the length of a flexible bar from being shortened by an external force as well as to adjust the length of the flexible bar easily with precision. CONSTITUTION: A flexible bar consists of: an outer pipe(2); a screw shaft(4) inserted into the outer pipe slidably, having a screw on the circumference; a fixed block having a screw hole(6), connected to the middle of the screw shaft and coupled to the end of the outer pipe; a base pan(10) supporting the flexible bar; and a support table(12) supporting the lower surface of an object. The screw shaft is inserted into a space portion of the fixed block. The screw shaft is taken out slightly and the fixed block is returned to the original position. A threaded portion of the screw hole is connected to a screw around the screw shaft. When the fixed block is rotated by a lever(14), the screw shaft is lifted up by the screw of the fixed block. Thereby, the length of the flexible bar is adjusted with precision. The screw of the screw hole is engaged with the screw of the screw shaft. Therefore, the length of the screw shaft is not shortened by an external force.
